Thermo Scientific™ SampleManager™ LIMS 21.2 SP1

Thermo Fisher Scientific is pleased to announce the release of Thermo Scientific™ SampleManager™ LIMS software version v.21.2 SP1 is now available for download. For more details, the download kit and Release Notes are found on our support site at Product Downloads. We also delivered a 21.2 SP1 image for SampleManager Cloud Hosted deployments. 

This release addresses high priority customer defects and targets Thermo Fisher Cloud Hosting container synchronization improvements, leading to a higher quality product and improved customer experience.

Forthcoming release of Integration Manager 3.2 Service Pack (SP) 3

We are excited to announce the forthcoming release of Integration Manager 3.2 Service Pack (SP) 3, which introduces significant enhancements in security, compatibility, and user experience. This update includes configurable HTTPS usage, dynamic encryption, and enforced password changes for improved security. Compatibility updates ensure seamless integration with Oracle 19c, Microsoft Server 2019 and 2022, and Microsoft Windows 11. Additionally, minor UI enhancements streamline workflows, and numerous defects have been resolved to provide a more reliable and user-friendly experience. Release is expected in H1, 2025.

Quadrupole MS Driver for GC-IC-LC Series 5.2.1 for Chromeleon Released

Thermo Scientific™ Nautilus LIMS™ 9.6 Released

Thermo Fisher Scientific is pleased to announce the release of Thermo Scientific™ Nautilus LIMS™ 9.6.

The primary objectives of this release were to provide support for Nautilus on Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11, to incorporate usability improvements, enhancement requests, technology updates, and defect resolutions.

Chromeleon 7.3.2 MUc Released

We are pleased to announce the release of Thermo Scientific Chromeleon version 7.3.2 MUc, continuing our support for our latest Long-Term Support version of Chromeleon.

The release addresses major and critical defects within the software. For full descriptions of the resolved issues, please see the Release Notes within the Downloads section of this resource site.
In addition, several updates have been included with this release. These are:

• Reporting - Reporting 1.0 to Reporting 2.0 conversion via Save-As
• Discovery Configuration - Enforcement of enhanced security
• Response File Expansion - Join Region command line as part of unattended installation

A Priority 1 defect was identified in Thermo Scientific™ SampleManager LIMS™ software, versions 21.0 and 21.1 only. We classify a defect as “Priority 1” when the defect constitutes a potential safety or regulatory concern, derived from high severity and impact assessments.

Thermo Fisher Scientific is pleased to announce the release of Thermo Scientific™ Watson LIMS™ software version 7.7.1 SP1, available for download here.

This Service Pack release delivers updates only to the currently supported instrument gateway installation files. The affected gateways are upgraded from Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) 4.0 to MSXML 6.0. Previously released Watson LIMS instrument integration gateways utilized MSXML v4, which has been identified as a potential security vulnerability by Microsoft Corporation.
